"As a young surfer, I spent many evenings looking to the east doing the proverbial "praying for surf". At the same time, I used to get lost in the changing colors as the sun dipped below the horizon behind me. It was always after when the sun went down that the sky would come alive. It would only last for a short time but while it did, I was alive in my own paradise on my little piece of beach in New Jersey." -JW
