“I must have driven by the house a thousand time while growing up at the Jersey Shore. One day in the fall, I decided to stop and photograph it. Don’t know why; just because. Only after returning home and printing it in my studio, did I fall in love with it. Maybe it’s the yellow against the blue sky that plays off of the orange lines in the road. Maybe it’s the simplicity that takes me back to my younger day. But when ever I look at it, it’s like seeing an old friend.” -JW
