OCEAN SUNSET V

A beautiful archival color pigment print of a sunset along the California coast with an impressionistic view signed and printed by Jim Wright.

"The “Ocean Sunset ” series is actual part of the larger collection called “Seascapes”. My lovely wife, while 7 months pregnant, charted a sailboat for a sunset cruise  up the coast from Marina Del Rey to Malibu as a birthday present. The problem was that there wasn’t any sunset to be had. So I took advantage of the ominous clouds that rolled in and started experimenting with long handheld exposures. The rocking and rolling of the boat provide the motion. I just released  the shutter and let mother nature paint the textures in my frame." -JW
